  • Wired Magazine Issue 12.03 is all about Google. There’s like twenty pages of all different kinds of stuff. “They named their new search engine Google, for the biggest number they could imagine. But it wasn’t big enough. Today Google’s a library, an almanac, a settler of bets. It’s a parlor game, a dating service, a shopping mall. It’s a Microsoft rival. It’s a verb. At more than 200 million requests a day, it is, by far, the world’s biggest search engine. And now, on the eve of a very public stock offering, it’s cast as savior, a harbinger of rebirth in the Valley. How can it be so many things? It’s Goooooooooogle.”

  • I wonder if I can use iOrganize to post to my blog via mail-to-Blogger.

That way if I do have the occasional something-or-other that I feel

would make a blogworthy post. Well, then I can post it. Update: That worked well.

  • I’ve had a blog for years and I can search it for old stuff and ideas I’ve put in there. But not everything goes in the blog and I’m really bad with managing stuff that I want to keep in mind or do later. I use mac Stickies, Tex-Edit, Word, and email notes to myself. I keep unsaved files minimized in my dock so I’ll remember them later. Horrible. Then every month or so, I go through and delete everything. What I need is a simple but effective desktop blog. So I found iOrganize and I’m going to try it out for 30 days. I hope it helps.

  • Yo, Amazon. My birthday is March 10 and I was hoping to put some gift certificates in my wish list. One for $10, one for $20, and one for $50 (in case a big spender drops by.) What’s the deal. How come I can’t put a Gift certificate in my wish list?
